3. How old do I need to be to use The Crescent Moon services?
The Crescent Moon is primarily for adults who are 18 years or older. If you are below 18 years, a consent from the parent(s) or legal guardian will be required before signing up for the therapy. All the financial and administrative documents will be shared with the parent or guardian. Further, they shall be informed immediately about situations that could endanger you in any manner whatsoever.
4. Who will be assisting me?
Once you sign up, we will match you to an available therapist who fits your objectives, preferences and the type of issue/s you are dealing with. You may choose to match yourself to a therapist as well. Different therapists have different approaches and areas of focus, so it's important to find the therapist who can achieve the desired results for you. Once matched, if you feel your therapist isn't the desired fit for you, you may change your preference; to be matched to a different therapist.
5. Who are the therapists?
Therapists on The Crescent Moon are licensed, trained, experienced, and accredited psychologists (PhD and similar), licensed marriage and family therapists or professional therapists. All of them have a Masters Degree or a Doctorate Degree or an allied degree in their field of expertise. You may opt to learn more about the therapist by clicking on their individual profile. 6. How are the therapists verified?
The Crescent Moon ensures that every therapist is licensed/professional and in good standing. We have the requisite transcripts, licensure documentation and proof of identity.
